Our youngest, just 2 1/2 years old, was so happy and enthralled by the new crias. Despite our admonishments he kept trying to touch them. But, we weren't too worried, since it really seemed that the crias were treating him as another 'kid' -- darting away from his touch, but yet coming back for more!
So, I remember that the kids enjoy the alpacas and allow them time together. They get used to each other, and it widens both their horizons.... Happy kids, and happy alpacas :).
