I will be 'off' tomorrow to go to the GWAS / Fiber Fiesta in Denver, CO Friday-Sunday, so I am posting early with some extra information about silk fusion.
Just in case you wanted to see other descriptions, these handy links have wonderful information with different and sometimes more details -- especially on the adhesive names and where to buy them. Please enjoy their information and let me know if you try your own 'paper' adventure! Mine will be to try alpaca with the silk!

Treenway: "The Inside Out of Silk Fusion written by Karen Selk"
Treetops Colours Harmonies: "Creating Silk 'Paper' (Also Known as Silk Fusion) by Nancy Ballesteros"
Don't forget to look at their pdf file since it includes pictures. There is a link at the top of their page.
Craft HQ appears to have a re-summary of Treetops article, but you may prefer it's streamlined instructions.
Joggles: "Making Silk Fusion by Sue Bleiweiss"
I really haven't done a thorough search online for the supplies, but here are some that popped up as I perused around...
Some supplies at Fibercrafts.
Papershed (seems to have some affiliation with Fibercrafts)
Joggles sells the supplies as well
Treenway silks are wonderful. This is what we used in our class! (ironically they sell for Treetops)
But don't just look here... If you Google "Jo Sonja's Textile Medium" lots of sites pop up. See what you think!
While you are at it, have you every searched the pictures on Yahoo or Google for Silk Fusion? Talk about inspiring! There are some great pictures of things to give you ideas for both flat and 3D art. Go wild and let out your creative side!
Good luck and link back if you try a design and want to show it off!
Good luck at the show and thanks for the links. I leave mid-morning for the Michigan Breeders Show. Agghh! I'll be glad when show season is over.
